New website Pack, an online presence for dogs

I like to think of myself, my husband, and our two dogs as a little pack. Not in the hierarchical wolf sense of alpha and whatnot, but in the sense of our fun little family unit. Just recently I joined a bit bigger pack, a new online presence for people who love dogs. Clearly, that is a pack where I belong.

About Pack

“We believe there’s something magical about dogs and the people who love them. That’s you. We want to make it fun to celebrate and share the experiences we have with our dogs. We are a small team of veteran entrepreneurs building something we wish existed. Pack is just getting started. Thanks for being here at the beginning.” – PackLove.com

Pack provides a beautiful online home for your dog. The company quietly launched on Valentine’s Day 2013 and allowed new users to set up accounts for their favorite dogs…for one day only. Of course people love dogs, and some awesome profiles were created, as seen on this page of the top 50 profiles from that day.

Now, as Pack focuses on new features and slow quality growth, new members are limited to invites from existing members. Thanks to a generous invite from a Twitter friend, Izzie and Maddie both have profiles (one invite allows you to add profiles for more than one dog).

So, wanna join the Pack?

To help spread the love, the cool folks at Pack have extended five invites for me to share with DogSplendor readers. The first five readers to leave me a comment below telling me what you love best about your dog(s) will receive an invite.

If you’re not one of the lucky five to get an invite this time, keep up to date with the activities on Pack via their Facebook page or Twitter account. Pack is off to a great start, and I anticipate even more awesome things in it’s future!

I love my Luna Tuna because she is so expressive! My favorite is when she gives giant sighs of relief just before snuggling into bed. She is also pretty good at doing somersaults. ( :

It sounds trite, but it is true that what I love most about my dogs is that they love me no matter what. Even when I’m unlovable! Bad mood, bad hair, feeling crummy… doesn’t matter 🙂

Nothing trite about unconditional love. 🙂 Invite sent!
